TUESDAY: Bike the Vote for Vahedi, 10am, Vote for Vahedi Headquarters

Tomorrow is election day, and Council District 5 is a hot race.  Ted Rogers of BikingInLA and I will be biking the vote in support of David Vahedi (event on Facebook), candidate for CD 5.  We’ll meet at Vahedi’s campaign headquarters at 10am, and then bike around the district with Vahedi signs.

Vahedi is a lawyer who has litigated on behalf of cyclists before, including an incident in which DWP let a 13 inch shard of metal stick into the Venice Bl bike path, after being a previously notified of the danger. A cyclist was injured, and Vahedi litigated ferociously on his behalf, though unsuccessfully.
