I couldn't believe the increase in bike trails-- I went from a second ring suburb to the middle of Uptown in 45 minutes (and could've continued on the greenway to the light rail to go downtown) without ever needing to bike on a street. pretty amazing. this summer I biked in mpls. for the first time since I moved to LA 8 years ago.
