Northridge East Neighborhood Council endorses Cyclists' Bill of Rights

Word just came in from Thomas Baker (via Joe Linton) that the Northridge East Neighborhood Council endorsed the Cyclists’ Bill of Rights:

I was able to propose a Motion on the Northridge East Neighborhood Councils last General Board Meeting Sept. 16, 2009 to Endorse the Bicycle Bill of Rights. The Motion was voted on and Passed unanimously with no Abstentions or No’s. So NENC has endorsed the Bicycle Bill of Rights.

Good stuff!  Word on the street is that the (former) City Attorney’s office proposed radical changes to the document when the Transportation Committee asked for an opinion.  With so many neighborhood councils endorsing the document without reservation, does it make sense to alter the document?  I say it doesn’t.

Good work Thomas.
