Life Before License: 2nd meeting, Sunday, 1-3pm & Take the Survey.

Life Before License is kicking off by surveying you about your opinions on hit and run laws, and driving privileges.  Please take the survey, and please share this link widely:

Share it on your twitter account, share it on Facebook, and ask your friends, family, and community to take the survey.  This survey will get them thinking about hit and run, driving privileges, and what should come first – life or license?  We have to change the law for 37 million Californians . . . we better get started now!

Life Before License had it’s first organizing meeting last Sunday, the 15th, in Hollywood.  Activists of all stripes came together and we discussed means and plans of attack for addressing hit and run.  The free ranging discussion led to a consensus position – the laws that govern our streets, from top to bottom, must be reformed.  Life Before License, therefore, is our first step on a tough journey of comprehensive reform.

We left with a plan to build a broad coalition of all road users and a commitment to changing hearts and minds.  The first step toward change is understanding the lay of the land.
