I was traveling in the only through-going lane west on Charles E. Young Dr S and waiting for a green light at 6:30 pm on Thursday, February 2nd, 2012. The light changed and adjacent vehicles in both the left and right-turn lanes simultaneous attempted to squeeze me, almost killing me. Both vehicles broke the law, changing from their left and right-turn lanes, respectively to the through lane that only fits one vehicle through the intersection. Travel speed was similar for myself, and the two large vehicles as they attempted to overtake through the intersection. I yelled loudly and the vehicle on the left accelerated to avoid a major collision, and most likely a fatality. The left driver had never checked his mirror (in addition to running a red light since he was in the left turn-only lane) and the right driver had attempted to pass on the right using a right-turn only lane. I was fully lit up from both the front and rear, with two 250 lumen front lights and two bright blinking rear lights. I also had a reflective outfit on.
