Car rear-ends bike on S. Beverly Dr

Cyclist was proceeding southbound on Beverly Drive approaching Olympic Blvd from the North, begins bearing left to continue on S. Beverly, following lane markings. Car traveling southbound on S. Beverly and continuing straight onto Beverwill rear-ends bike, causing deep lacerations requiring stitches for cyclist. BH police rule that collision is cyclist's fault because cyclist was "changing lanes" [sic] and did not look back before doing so.
