Bikerobabes: Bikerowave's blossoming women and transgender only night

I once stood in the old Bikerowave on Thursday night, in a shop full to the brim with 17 cyclists working on bikes.  17 men.

Bikerowave is a little heavy on the Y chromosomes, an unfortunate and apt representation of the LA bike scene.  That’s one reason Bikerowave is proud to have a new women and transgender only night.  Every Tuesday, from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Bikerowave is open, but only to women and transgender people.

I’d tell you what it’s like, but even as Bikerowave’s treasurer and co-founder, I can’t go.  Someone want to go and review it for me?

  1. you’re right about the swinging dicks factor. I saw 6 pack mondays fly by on my way downtown and there were no girls! not one, *smh* who knows.
